Covid-19
Joanne thanks all her students and families for their continuous support throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. As it was for many, it was a challenge to quickly create a new way of teaching students in a safe, feasible, and practical way while maintaining high-quality music education. Thankfully, online lessons have been successful in the wake of this unprecedented time.

2023 Update:
Lessons resume in studio as normal and occasionally online by request, until further notice.
August 2021 & January 2022 (Delta & Omicorn Varients)

From September 2021, in-person lessons will be offered with the following points in mind:
Do not come if you are not feeling well—sore throat, a cold, sneezing fever etc.
I will have hand sanitizer in the garage on my sanitizing table for everyone to use before entering the house. I would like to continue using hand sanitizer.
I would like to continue with masks for a while. I’ll have extra masks on my sanitizing table in the garage if you forget yours.
I am still going to sanitize the keys and the piano frequently during the day and disinfect the chair and any door handles that have been touched.
I have an air purifier with a HEPA filter to help with the airflow.
I am fully vaccinated as is my household.
If you feel sick, we can do a Zoom lesson if needed.

Long & McQuade is open to the public. If you need any materials you will be able to get them directly from the store.
Amazon.ca also has most of the books needed for lessons.
As the Delta-Variant develops, we continue to monitor the situation and adjust our lesson plans accordingly.
